Resolved Question: precaution while issuing post dated cheque?

i want a car loan from HDFC bank. it is about 2,38,000. and for 5 years. installation will deduce from my salary account. but bank is saying to give 7 post dated cheques of amount 15000 each. cheques have my signature but not date. i m in suspision. when i m allowing him to deduce his installments from my salary account why they want post dated cheques of 15000 and without date. what if they cash cheques on next day..? i m in patna bihar india...
